George Clooney's Vedic Chart: His Best Asset Was Time

George Clooney's full Vedic astrology birth chart (D1) with planets, houses, and zodiac placements

The chart always leaves fingerprints. George Clooney is not just "the handsome guy who somehow stayed handsome forever." That is lazy analysis.

Plenty of attractive actors arrive in Hollywood. Very few go from struggling actor, to television phenomenon, to global movie star, to Oscar winner, director, producer, businessman, humanitarian, husband, father, and eventually one of the elder statesmen of Hollywood.

That is a completely different career arc. George Clooney did not simply become famous. He compounded.

And that is exactly what makes his Vedic chart so interesting. Because while the chart contains enormous beauty and celebrity signatures, the planet I keep coming back to is not Venus.

It is Saturn. This is a chart built around time, maturity, reputation, communication, partnership, and powerful networks. Young George Clooney was famous.

Older George Clooney became an institution. That distinction is the entire article.

The D1 Chart: The Main Life Blueprint

The D1 is the primary Vedic birth chart. This is the core gameboard. It shows identity, money, communication, family, relationships, creativity, career, gains, challenges, and the overall architecture of the life.

George's chart shows Capricorn rising. His 1st house contains the Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn. Saturn sits in its own sign.

Jupiter is debilitated. Venus is exalted in Pisces. The Sun is exalted in Aries.

Mars is debilitated in Cancer. Rahu sits in the 8th. Ketu sits in the 2nd.

So immediately we have something interesting: Two exalted planets. Two debilitated planets. And an extremely strong Ascendant lord. This is not a chart made entirely of easy placements.

It is a chart of extreme strengths mixed with pressure points that must mature. That matters. Because George Clooney's life is not really the story of immediate perfection.

It is the story of development.

Capricorn Rising: The Long Game

George is a Capricorn Ascendant. And Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. That means Saturn becomes the ruler of the entire chart.

The Ascendant describes identity, body, temperament, direction, and how someone moves through life. And where is George's Saturn? Right in the 1st house.

In Capricorn. Its own sign. That is huge.

Saturn rules George's identity, and Saturn is sitting at home. This gives seriousness, restraint, patience, discipline, professionalism, durability, and an ability to become more authoritative with age.

Some people are built to peak early. Saturn people are often built differently. They may take longer to fully become themselves.

But once they arrive, they tend to be difficult to replace. George spent years working before becoming a major star. Then ER.

Then film. Then directing. Then producing.

Then business. Then humanitarian work. Then family.

His public identity became larger and more credible as he aged. That is extremely Saturnian. Young Saturn can feel late. Mature Saturn owns the building.

Saturn Rules His Money Too

For Capricorn Ascendant, Saturn does not only rule the 1st house. It also rules the 2nd house. The 2nd governs accumulated wealth, speech, values, family resources, possessions, and what somebody builds and retains over time.

So the same planet governing George's identity also governs his wealth. Then Saturn sits powerfully in the Ascendant. In plain English:

George Clooney himself becomes an asset. His name has economic value. His reputation has value.

His credibility has value. His social access has value. His face obviously did not hurt.

But this is bigger than beauty. It is accumulated reputation. The longer George remained George Clooney, the more valuable "George Clooney" became.

That is 2nd-lord Saturn operating through the 1st.

The 1st House: Controlled Charisma

Saturn is not alone. George also has the Moon and Jupiter sitting in the 1st house. That creates an unusual mixture.

The Moon gives emotional responsiveness, social sensitivity, popularity, and connection to other people. Jupiter gives breadth, judgment, philosophy, intelligence, and expansion.

Saturn gives restraint. Put them together and George's public presence starts making more sense. He can be funny without seeming chaotic.

Charismatic without seeming desperate. Famous without behaving as though everybody needs to remember he is famous every six minutes. It is controlled charisma.

Jupiter expands. Moon connects. Saturn tells both of them to behave.

Useful combination.

Moon + Saturn: The Relationship Story

The Moon is particularly important because for Capricorn rising, the Moon rules the 7th house of marriage and serious partnership. And the 7th lord sits in George's 1st house.

That means partnership becomes tied directly to identity. Relationships are not something happening quietly in another corner of the horoscope. They affect the person.

They shape the person. But the Moon sits with Saturn. And Saturn is the planet of delay, maturity, responsibility, restriction, testing, and time.

George Clooney became one of Hollywood's most famous bachelors. For years, his public image practically included: "I am never getting married again."

Then later in life, he marries Amal. That is such a Saturn-Moon storyline. Saturn does not always say:

No. Sometimes Saturn says: Not yet.

And once partnership does arrive, the 7th lord sitting in the 1st means it can meaningfully change the native's identity. George after marriage did not stop being George Clooney.

But his public role expanded. Husband. Father.

Humanitarian partner. International civic figure. The partner enters the self.

Venus: The Career Weapon

Now we get to one of the strongest placements in the entire chart. For Capricorn Ascendant, Venus rules both the: 5th house — creativity, performance, talent, intelligence, artistic expression.

and the: 10th house — profession, reputation, status, achievement, and public career. That makes Venus George's yogakaraka.

One planet connects creativity directly to profession. And where is Venus? Exalted in Pisces.

That is massive. So no, the astrology is not: "Venus = handsome."

Congratulations. We solved George Clooney. The real statement is: The planet governing both his creative gifts and his professional status is exalted.

That is much bigger.

Exalted Venus in the 3rd: Charm Becomes Communication

George's exalted Venus sits in the 3rd house. The 3rd governs communication, speech, media, writing, performance skills, courage, presentation, repetition, and self-generated effort.

This is perfect for George. Because one of Clooney's greatest assets has never only been his appearance. It is his delivery.

His timing. His wit. His ability to talk.

His ease in interviews. His ability to move between comedy and seriousness without looking like he changed personalities halfway through the sentence.

He became an actor, writer, director, producer, public speaker, businessman, and activist. His creativity and career are routed through communication.

Brad Pitt's magnetism often feels visual. George's feels social. That is an important distinction.

Venus in Revati: The Polished Operator

Venus sits in Revati. Revati carries themes of refinement, transition, guidance, movement, civilized presentation, and the ability to move successfully between different worlds.

Again, look at George. Movie star. Director.

Political filmmaker. Entrepreneur. Humanitarian.

Comedian. Serious public figure. He moves between radically different environments while still feeling like the same person.

There is a polished adaptability to him. That exalted Venus does not simply make him attractive. It helps make him socially fluent.

Exalted Sun: Power, Authority, and Serious Subject Matter

George's Sun is exalted in Aries. That is another major planetary strength. But for Capricorn Ascendant, the Sun rules the 8th house.

And the 8th is not light territory.

It deals with:

  • power
  • crisis
  • hidden systems
  • secrets
  • politics
  • transformation
  • investigation
  • other people's resources
  • institutional machinery

Now put that ruler in exaltation. Suddenly George's attraction to serious political and institutional subject matter becomes much more interesting. Good Night, and Good Luck.

Syriana. Michael Clayton. The Ides of March.

Government. Journalism. Power.

Ethics. Corruption. Institutions.

Who controls the system? Who controls the information? Who abuses power?

These themes repeatedly appear in his creative work. That is much more useful than saying: "Exalted Sun means famous."

Obviously he is famous. The better question is: What kind of material does the fame become attached to?

Mercury With the Sun: Sharp Communication

Mercury sits with the Sun in Aries. Mercury rules George's 9th house of philosophy, law, higher principles, ethics, worldview, and international perspective.

It also rules the 6th house of work, conflict, service, and disputes. So the 9th lord joins an exalted Sun.

Now we get:

  • principles
  • communication
  • authority
  • politics
  • law
  • public ideas
  • all interacting.

George's public life eventually expanded far beyond entertainment. He became outspoken on politics, humanitarian issues, journalism, international affairs, and justice.

Again, the chart keeps pulling him beyond: "Handsome actor says line." There is intellectual and ideological machinery underneath the celebrity.

Mercury in Krittika: The Knife

Mercury falls in Krittika. Krittika cuts. Mercury communicates.

That gives us a sharp style. Directness. Precision.

Sarcasm. Wit. An ability to make the point without wrapping it in seventeen pillows first.

George has always been known for dry humor and verbal timing. This placement makes sense. It is not fluffy Mercury.

It has an edge.

Mars in the 7th: Partnership Is Not Passive

George's Mars sits debilitated in Cancer in the 7th house. For Capricorn rising, Mars rules the: 4th house — home, emotional foundation, property.

and the: 11th house — gains, networks, allies, large organizations, ambitions. That second rulership is enormous.

The ruler of gains and networks goes into the house of partnership. So a huge amount of George's success is routed through other people. Business partners.

Creative partners. Production partners. Powerful friends.

Organizations. Marriage. George Clooney is not a lone-wolf success story.

His chart repeatedly says: alliances matter.

But the 7th House Is Complicated

George Clooney's Chart Directional Strengths
George Clooney's Sarva Ashtakavarga chart showing directional strength scores across all 12 houses

Mars is debilitated there. And George's Sarvashtakavarga score for the 7th house is only: 21.

One of his lowest scores. That does not mean: "Bad relationships."

That is toddler logic. It means relationships may require more effort, maturity, patience, or development. And this is exactly where George's chart becomes educational.

The 7th house is extremely important. The 11th lord sits there. The 7th lord sits in the Ascendant.

Major planets influence it. Yet the Sarva score is low. So once again:

Important does not mean easy. That principle is everything. Partnership can become enormously valuable while still demanding work.

The gift and the invoice can absolutely arrive in the same envelope.

Rahu in the 8th: Fascination With Power

Now let's get spicy. Rahu sits in Leo in the 8th house. Rahu amplifies.

The 8th rules hidden power, crisis, secrets, investigation, politics beneath politics, transformation, and what happens behind closed doors. Leo deals with authority, leadership, recognition, status, and hierarchy.

Put that together and the chart becomes fascinated with: power. Who has it?

Who controls the institution? Who controls the narrative? Who is really making the decision?

George has repeatedly built films and public advocacy around exactly those kinds of questions. This is not necessarily saying George personally wants to rule Earth from a volcano.

Relax. It means the chart repeatedly directs attention toward systems of power.

Rahu in Magha: Status and the Throne

Rahu sits in Magha. Magha is deeply connected to status, lineage, hierarchy, ancestry, authority, and the throne. Rahu wants more.

Magha understands rank. That is an intense combination. George eventually became part of Hollywood's elite while also maintaining enough distance from the machine to criticize politics, media, institutions, and powerful people.

That feels very Rahu. Inside the room. And simultaneously watching the room.

Ketu in the 2nd: Wealth Without Becoming the Wealth

Ketu sits across the axis in Aquarius in the 2nd house. The 2nd is wealth, speech, values, family, possessions, and accumulated resources. Ketu detaches.

But this is where beginner interpretations get silly. Ketu in the 2nd does not mean: "You will be poor."

George Clooney would like a word. Instead it can show detachment from the thing itself. Someone can accumulate wealth without building their entire personality around announcing how wealthy they are.

And remember: The 2nd lord Saturn is extremely strong. So the ability to accumulate exists.

Ketu simply complicates the psychological relationship to accumulation. The money can be real without becoming the soul.

The Sarva Chart: Then We See 41

Now we reach George's Sarvashtakavarga chart. And one number is ridiculous.

His scores include:

  • 1st house: 32
  • 6th house: 31
  • 10th house: 29
  • And then:
  • 11th house: 41

That is enormous.

The 11th house governs:

  • gains
  • audience
  • networks
  • friends
  • alliances
  • large organizations
  • income
  • powerful connections
  • fulfillment of ambitions

This is George Clooney's strongest Sarva house by a mile. And honestly? Of course it is.

The 11th House: George's Secret Weapon

George did not only become talented. He became connected. That is different.

Hollywood. Business. Politics.

Human rights. Media. Production.

Powerful friendships. Organizations. The 11th house is social capital.

And George's chart has a truckload of it. This becomes even more interesting because the 11th lord Mars sits in the 7th house of partnership. So the strongest field in his entire Sarva chart is literally routed through alliances.

That is an extraordinarily coherent chart story. The gains come through people. The ambitions expand through people.

The opportunities multiply through relationships. This is not networking in the cheesy "here's my business card" sense. It is:

Your relationships become infrastructure.

The 10th House: Career Is Strong, But It Is Not the Whole Story

George's 10th house scores 29. Good. But not 41.

And I love that because it teaches something important. If you only looked at house scores, you might think: "Well, career isn't even his biggest house."

Correct. But what rules the career? Venus.

And Venus is exalted. So the 10th-house story is not merely its Sarva score. The ruler of the house is exceptionally strong.

Then what happens after career? The 11th. Gains from career.

Networks. Audience. Expansion.

And that house explodes to 41. So George does not simply build a career. The career becomes a platform for everything else.

That is the machine.

The 6th House: The Work Behind the Charm

The 6th scores 31. The 6th governs work, service, competition, problem-solving, routine, conflict, and the ability to keep doing what needs to be done when nobody is throwing rose petals at you.

This matters because George's chart is glamorous. Exalted Venus. Exalted Sun.

Fame. Money. Charm.

Easy story. Except long careers are not built through charm alone. Somebody still has to show up.

Somebody still has to produce. Somebody still has to handle setbacks. Somebody still has to keep moving after the first success.

The 6th-house score reinforces the Saturn story. Beauty gets attention. Work keeps the chair warm.

79% Movable: George Does Not Sit Still

George's modality distribution is one of the loudest things in the chart:

  • 79% movable.
  • 15% fixed.
  • 6% dual.

That is extreme. Movable energy starts things. Initiates.

Changes direction. Moves. Creates the next chapter.

And look at George's life. Television. Film.

Directing. Producing. Business.

Activism. Humanitarian work. Marriage.

Fatherhood. Different stages. Different arenas.

He does not appear designed to find one identity and live there forever. The chart wants motion. It wants another project.

Another room. Another role. Another stage.

At 79% movable, retirement probably looks suspiciously like starting something else.

What This Chart Teaches

George Clooney's chart is a perfect example of why Vedic astrology cannot be reduced to:

  • "Good planet."
  • "Bad planet."
  • "Strong house."
  • "Weak house."

His chart is more sophisticated than that. Saturn is powerful and gives longevity. Venus is exalted and connects creativity directly to profession.

The Sun is exalted and ties power-oriented themes into the life. The Moon connects partnership to identity. Mars connects gains to relationships.

Rahu makes hidden systems and power fascinating. The 11th house receives an extraordinary 41 points. The 7th receives only 21.

So some of his biggest opportunities arise through the very terrain that may demand the most maturity. That is real astrology. Not:

"You are blessed." But: Here is the gift. Here is what makes the gift work. Here is where the invoice arrives.

Brad Pitt vs. George Clooney

This is also why comparing celebrity charts gets so fascinating. Brad Pitt and George Clooney occupy similar cultural territory. Two extraordinarily famous male actors.

Global recognition. Long careers. Massive wealth.

Sex-symbol status. Yet the machinery underneath them looks very different. Brad's chart places enormous emphasis on face, image, wealth, magnetism, and public projection.

George's chart puts far more emphasis on Saturn, communication, partnership, networks, status, and longevity. Brad's chart says: The image becomes an asset.

George's chart says: The person becomes an institution. Those are not the same fame pattern.

That is exactly why astrology gets interesting.

Final Word

George Clooney's greatest asset was never simply his face. It was never simply luck. It was never even fame.

It was his ability to compound. The Saturnian identity. The exalted career lord.

The communication machinery. The relationship architecture. The giant network house.

The ability to keep moving. The ability to become more authoritative rather than merely older. That is what the chart shows.

Some people explode onto the scene. Some people dominate a moment. Some people peak and spend the rest of their lives protecting what they used to be.

George Clooney's chart is different. It gets stronger when time is allowed to do its job. And that may be the most Saturnian sentence I can write:

Some people get older. Saturn people compound.
